Sculpture
Sculpture Wire Sculpture Wire can be used to sculpt works of art. Wire art may incorporate beads, wool, stones, or other materials. It can also be used to create armatures. My example is an armature of an armadillo. I chose to create an animal because wire scultpure can be used to create both simple and complex 3D shapes. My second example was much more simple but still represents the complex shape of a chameleon. Bend the wire to create interesting creatures or shapes. Papier Mache This medium is highly useful for creating larger sculptures or even modifying existing sculptures. It is a relatively cheap and easy method of constructing 3D art. My example shows three different applications of papier mache techniques using different solvents for paper strips. Paper was submerged and placed onto balloons and cardboard surfaces to demonstrate how papier mache can preserve forms of objects.
